Anorexia Nervosa and Related Eating Disorders We are a nonprofit organization that provides information about anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other less-well-known food and weight disorders. Our material includes self-help tips and information about recovery and prevention.

HUGS International Inc HUGS is an initiative built on a framework of diet free lifestyles. It is Health focused, centered on Understanding lifestyle behaviors, Group supported, and Self esteem building. HUGS offers programs and workshops for adults and teens based on the publication of three lifestyle books (You Count, Calories Don't; Staying Off the Diet Roller Coaster; Tailoring Your Tastes). These resources are marketed to clients in various settings of hospitals, health centers, workplaces, communities, private counseling and schools.
Mirror-Mirror: Eating Disorders
National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance NAAFA is a non- profit human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people. NAAFA has been working since 1969 to eliminate discrimination based on body size and provide fat people with the tools for self-empowerment through public education, advocacy, and member support. NAAFA needs the support of everyone who feels that size discrimination is unfair and unacceptable.
National Center for Overcoming Overeating The National Center for Overcoming Overeating is an educational and training organization working to end body hatred and dieting. It was started in 1989 by Carol Munter and Jane Hirschmann, authors of Overcoming Overeating and When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies. Jane is also the co-author of Preventing Childhood Eating Problems. Carol started the first anti-dieting group for women in 1970. Both are psychotherapists in New York City who have been working with women with compulsive eating problems for twenty-five years. The National Center for Overcoming Overeating has offices in New York City, Chicago, Houston, New England, and Atlanta.
National Eating Disorders Association Our name is new, but we have been providing life-saving information to individuals affected by eating disorders and reaching countless others with innovative prevention and education programs for more than a decade. 
National Eating Disorders Information Centre is a Toronto-based, non-profit organization, established in 1985 to provide information and resources on eating disorders and weight preoccupation. NEDIC began as a result of the concerted efforts of a group of health-care providers. Based on a national needs-assessment undertaken in 1983 by the Health League of Canada, a proposal was made for initial funding of an information centre which would focus on eating disorders and socio-cultural factors influencing the health related behavior of women. 
National Eating Disorders Screening Program (NEDSP) represents the first large scale screening for eating disorders. The program includes an educational presentation on eating disorders and/or related topics (body image, nutrition, etc.), a written screening test and the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a health professional. It also provides individuals with information about how to help friends or family members who may be suffering from an eating disorder. NEDSP’s national office provides each site with materials for the screening and ideas for ways the program can be modified for use by colleges, hospitals, schools, or eating disorders clinics.
Renfrew Center Foundation By 1990, the Renfrew Center realized the epidemic proportions of the problem and the need for public and professional education to increase awareness of anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Since the founding of The Renfrew Center Foundation in that same year, we have developed a number of programs designed to advance our mission.
