The site includes information on the IDEA law, adaptations for teaching activities to students with disabilities, links to top adapted Physical Education websites, and a FAQ section.
Afterschool.gov offers one-stop access to government resources that support after school programs. The site is designed for anyone who cares about kids 6-18-providers, parents, and kids and teens. You can find information to help you understand the issues that face kids and teens or fund, start and operate an after school program. You don't even need to know which Federal agency has the information you need-- afterschool.gov searched the sites for the information requested most often and put it in easy to use categories. Research studies, news and publications are added as they are released to keep you up to date on what is happening in the field of after school programs.

Awesome Library  This is a site about growing up with medical problems ...any ole type. Its goal is to help people understand what it's like, from the perspective of the children and teens who are doing just that. These kids have become experts at coping with problems that most of you have never heard of. They'd like you to know how they do it, and they hope that you'll be glad you came to visit. I've divided the contents into three ponds; one for kids, one for teens, and one for adults. Figure out which you are, and jump in.

Comprehensive Guide to understanding an IEP (Individualized Education Plan)

Study of Personnel Needs in Special Education (SPeNSE) was designed to address concerns about nationwide shortages in the number of personnel serving students with disabilities and the need for improvement in the qualifications of those employed. Part of a national assessment of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act mandated by Congress, SPeNSE examined (1) the extent to which personnel are adequately prepared to serve students with disabilities, (2) variation in personnel preparation, and (3) factors that explain that variation.
