Calif. Coalition for Ethical Mental Health Care Established in 1994 in response to the abuse of mental health patients and professional caregivers by the managed care industry, CCEMHC is a  grassroots organization of mental health care clients and patients, consumer advocates, and professionals from each of the mental health disciplines in California, dedicated to preserving the quality, integrity and confidentiality of mental health care through public and professional education, and through legal and legislative action.
Center for Education Rights  CER is dedicated to developing & marketing interactive learning resources for K-12 students, promoting advocacy projects relating to children with special needs, and conducting professional continuing education programs for attorneys, educators, parents, and others with an interest in special education law and internet-based learning systems.

Families and Work Institute Founded in 1989, FWI is known for ahead of the curve, non-partisan research into emerging work-life issues; for solutions-oriented studies addressing topics of vital importance to all sectors of society; and for fostering connections among workplaces, families, and communities. FWI’s rigorous data are highly respected. Business and community leaders, policy-makers, individual families, educators and the media seek out its research, which has influenced decisions across the nation.  
Family Support and Children's Mental Health established in 1984 at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon with funding from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), U.S. Department of Education, and the Center for Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Center is dedicated to promoting effective community-based, culturally competent, family-centered services for families and their children who are, or may be affected by mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. This goal is accomplished through collaborative research partnerships with family members, service providers, policy makers, and other concerned persons.

Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award was created by Public Law 100-107, signed into law on August 20, 1987. The Award Program, responsive to the purposes of Public Law 100-107, led to the creation of a new public-private partnership. Principal support for the program comes from the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, established in 1988.

PACER (Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights) was created by parents of children and youth with disabilities to help other parents and families facing similar challenges. Today, PACER Center expands opportunities and enhances the quality of life of children and young adults with disabilities and their families. PACER is staffed primarily by parents of children with disabilities and works in coalition with 18 disability organizations.  
Parents Helping Parents PHP is celebrating 25 years of serving families of children with special needs. We've come a long way in 25 years from a handful of volunteers, with less than $200 a year budget and a phone answering machine in our director's closet to over 500 volunteers, a budget of 1.8 million dollars and a facility with over 13,300 square feet of offices, meeting rooms, a library and a very sophisticated assistive technology and demonstration center for children of all ages.  
Sibling Support Project  The Sibling Support Project is a national program dedicated to the interests of brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs. The Project's primary goal is to increase the avail- ability of peer support and education opportunities for brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs.
